            It’s about Subject, Verb, Compliment, and Modifier. The sentence/consist of 3 units. The fisrt “She” is a subject (s). The second “Opened” is a Predicate (P). The third “her Book” is an Object. The word class if “She” is pronoun, “Opened” is transitive verb, and “her Book” is a compliment. The correct answer is nothing because the sentence correct.

            Pencil (I have a Pencil)
            It’s about count and noun count. The sentence contains/consist of 3 units. The first “I” is a subject (s). The second “have” is a predicate (p). The third “Pencil” is Object (o). The word class if “I” is a pronoun, “have” is prosesive, and “Pencil” is noun phrase. The corret answer is countable noun because “pencil” can be counted with numbers.

            A (Few/little) People Left Early
            It’s about determiners. The sentence contains/consist of 3 units. The first “a few people” is subject (s). The second “left” is predicate (p). The third “early” is modifier of time. The word class if “ a few” is pronoun, “people” is noun,” left” is transitive verb, and “early” is adverb of time. The correct answer is “Few” because where it match with count nouns.

            My___ car is four years old and still runs well
            It’s about Articles. The sentence contains/consist of 4 units. The first “my car” is a subject (s). The second “is” is a predicate (p). The third “four years old” is a modifier time. The last “ still runs well” is predicate (p). The word class “my car” is noun phrase which car is noun, “is” is modal, “four years old” is adverb of time, and “still runs well” is intransitive verb. The correct answer is nothing which is mean didn’t use any articles, because car is a specific thing and my is posesive or subject.

Exercise 5
            We looked at four cars today. The first two were far too expensive, but the______ ones were reasonably priced
            It’s about Other. The sentence contains/consist of 3 clauses. The first clause is “We looked at four cars today”, the second “The first two were too expensive” and the third “but the other ones were reasonably priced”. “We” a subject (s), “looked at” is a predicate (p), “four cars” is object (o), “today” is modifier time. “The first two” is a subject (s), “were far” is a predicate (p), too expencive is an adjective. “ the other” is a subject, “ ones were” is predicate (p) and “reasonably priced” is adjective. The word class “we looked” is noun phrase, “today” is adverb of time, “four cars” is compliment. The correct answer is Other because function as a prounon and oher is specific thing.
